Job description

About the Hiring TeamWhat the Role Entails

ABOUT LEVEL INFINITE

Level Infinite is Tencent Games' global publishing label, bringing world-class gaming experiences to players across more than 200 countries and regions. We work across a diverse portfolio of games - from action RPGs to casual mobile titles - and are building the brand infrastructure to match our global ambitions. This isn't just a publishing house; it's a brand being built in real time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a driven, focused intern to join our Brand Marketing team at our Playa Vista office. You'll work together with senior brand and marketing professionals, getting hands-on exposure to how a global gaming brand is built - from influencer campaigns to community activations to live events.

This role sits at the intersection of brand, marketing, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll regularly interface with stakeholders across game teams, partnerships, PR, and regional offices - helping coordinate projects, align on priorities, and keep momentum going. It's a high-exposure position with a real learning curve: you'll see how decisions get made, how campaigns come together, and how a growing global brand operates day to day. If you're someone who thrives in

fast-moving environments, loves gaming culture, and wants to learn the craft of brand-building from the inside, this is your seat at the table.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support day-to-day coordination across influencer marketing, community, and events campaigns - tracking deliverables, timelines, and partner communications
  • Assist in identifying, vetting, and onboarding content creators and influencers across YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram
  • Help manage community touchpoints including social listening, Discord/Reddit monitoring, and fan engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate logistics for online and offline events - including game launches, tournaments, and brand activations
  • Draft briefs, recaps, trackers, and decks to support campaign planning and reporting
  • Act as a reliable communication bridge between internal stakeholders (Brand, Marketing, Game Teams) and external partners
  • Research trends in gaming culture, creator ecosystems, and competitor brand activities to inform strategy
  • Shadow senior brand team members across planning sessions, partner calls, and creative reviews
Who We Look For

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field
  • Genuine passion for gaming - you follow the industry, know the games, and understand the culture
  • Prior experience or coursework in at least one of: influencer/creator marketing, community management, or event coordination (internships, club work, and personal projects all count)
  • Highly organized, with a natural instinct for follow-up and keeping projects on track
  • Comfortable working across time zones with remote and distributed teams
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace, AI Platforms or similar project management/collaboration software is a plus
  • A proactive attitude - you ask questions, raise your hand, and bring ideas to the table

NICE TO HAVE

  • Active presence in gaming communities (Discord, Reddit, Twitch, etc.) - as a player, mod, or creator
  • Experience running or supporting brand social accounts
  • Exposure to campaign analytics and reporting (engagement rates, reach, conversion tracking)

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • Real responsibility from day one - not a fetch-coffee internship
  • Direct mentorship from experienced brand and marketing professionals
  • Front-row access to how a major global gaming brand operates behind the scenes
  • Meaningful exposure to cross-functional stakeholders - game teams, PR, partnerships, and regional offices - giving you a full picture of how a global publisher operates
  • A portfolio-worthy experience with tangible campaigns and activations to point to

Location State(s)

US-California-Los Angeles, US-California-Palo AltoThe expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $24.81 to $42.70 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will be eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, full-time interns are also eligible to enroll in the Company-sponsored medical plan.Equal Employment Opportunity at Tencent
