POSITION SUMMARY

This dynamic field-based role is dedicated to French Bloom, the global leader in alcohol-free sparkling wines.

As Brand Development Ambassador, you will be responsible for accelerating the growth and visibility of French Bloom across Quebec and Ontario through focused brand advocacy, business development, account management, and education initiatives.

Working closely with both Mot Hennessy and Charton Hobbs teams, you will identify new business opportunities, support strategic customer relationships, deliver impactful brand education, and drive execution across both on-premise and retail channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note that domestic and occasional international travel, as well as evening and weekend industry events, are required as part of this role.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES (60%)

On-Premise Development

  • Identify, target, and secure new listings for French Bloom within high-potential on-premise accounts across Quebec and Ontario.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in restaurants, hotels, bars, and hospitality groups.
  • Negotiate and execute listing opportunities, ensuring strong visibility and brand presence.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to drive distribution, sales, and brand awareness.


Retail Development & Key Accounts

  • Manage and develop relationships with key retail customers and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with National Account Managers and Charton Hobbs field sales representatives to ensure consistent execution of brand strategies and priorities.
  • Identify and secure new retail opportunities within liquor boards and premium retail channels.
  • Support key account planning activities including annual reviews, promotional execution, order management, and customer engagement initiatives.


Sales Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner closely with Charton Hobbs sales teams by providing expertise, support, and market insight related to French Bloom.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to maximize new business opportunities and account growth.
  • Maintain regular communication with Regional Vice Presidents and Sales Directors regarding priorities, activities, customer developments, and market trends.


BRAND ADVOCACY & EDUCATION (30%)

External Brand Representation

  • Conduct engaging product presentations, tastings, and training sessions for both on-premise and retail customers.
  • Represent French Bloom at industry events, trade shows, consumer activations, and customer functions across Canada as required.
  • Represent French Bloom with professionalism, enthusiasm, and authenticity across all customer, consumer, and industry interactions.
  • Develop strong relationships with key industry influencers, sommeliers, and hospitality professionals to support brand visibility and advocacy.
  • Support the development and execution of local brand activation initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and trial.


Internal Education & Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Charton Hobbs sales teams focused on French Blooms brand story, product portfolio, and market positioning.
  • Serve as the primary internal resource for French Bloom-related inquiries and support.
  • Ensure sales teams are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and materials required to effectively represent the brand.


REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION (10%)

  • Prepare and submit regular reports related to sales performance, market trends, competitive activity, and new account development.
  • Share relevant data and insights with Commercial Analysts and Regional Market Managers to support internal reporting and business planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, sales initiatives, and performance metrics within company systems.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build credibility across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong sales and business development capabilities with a proven ability to identify opportunities and achieve results.
  • Passion for premium brands, hospitality, and the non-alcoholic beverage category.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Quebec and Ontario, with occasional national travel.


Additional Requirements

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in sales, brand development, marketing, key account management, or a related role, ideally within CPG, beverage alcohol, luxury, or hospitality industries.
  • Existing industry relationships within the on-premise and/or retail channels are considered a strong asset.
  • Valid drivers license.
