MARKETING INTERN
Schedule: Part-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team! This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, branding, digital communications, event promotion, public relations, and community engagement. The Marketing Intern will support initiatives that enhance brand awareness, promote community events, and showcase the vibrant lifestyle our residents enjoy. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or related fields.

  • Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns across print, digital, email, and social media channels
  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, blogs, email campaigns, and the community website
  • Capture photos and videos of resident activities, special events, and campus life for marketing materials
  • Support the planning and promotion of community events, educational programs, and prospective resident events
  • Help maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, signage, and promotional materials
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor communities, and local partnership opportunities
  • Assist with website updates and content management
  • Monitor social media engagement and compile performance reports
  • Coordinate with vendors, photographers, printers, and community partners as needed
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Marketing Department
  • Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
  • Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members, Residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
  • Work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
  • When working in Resident areas, must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Attends and participates in in-service educational classes, Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed
Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn; experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Photography, videography, or graphic design experience preferred
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, preferred
  • Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS) preferred
  • Experience analyzing social media or digital marketing performance metrics preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient with computer software programs
Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.
