THE TEAM DIFFERENCE

People may forget your witty hashtag and your latest campaign tagline, but they will never forget how you made them feel. That’s because what a brand does is much more important that what is says. Actions speak louder than advertising and marketing. Experiences are what create real connections that lead to brand love and that’s what we do at TEAM. We’re a fun, collaborative, hard working group with a great office environment who takes care of our employees, to ensure that both in work and in life you experience something greater.

The Account Supervisor (AS) will work in tandem with other Client Service personnel at the agency, while serving as a lead day-to-day manager across one or more agency accounts. The position will report to the Account Director and will work closely with Creative, Production, and Finance departments, as well as external agency partners and vendors. As an AS, the employee will be expected to manage multiple programs, workstreams and priorities simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on experiential events, trade shows, conferences and other live brand experiences. Strong communication, organization and leadership skills are required, as the individual will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client relationships and ensuring programs are delivered successfully against client objectives, timelines and budgets. A strong sense of accountability, attention to detail and proactive problem-solving will be essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, anticipating needs and bringing forward solutions and recommendations while keeping senior account leadership informed of key decisions, risks and opportunities. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the day-to-day management and execution of client experiential programs, including trade shows, conferences, meetings, hospitality experiences and large-scale branded events, from initial briefing through onsite execution and post-event wrap.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships, leading status meetings, managing expectations, presenting recommendations and translating client objectives into actionable direction for internal teams and external partners.
  • Own integrated project timelines and workstreams across Client Service, Production, Creative, Finance and external partners, proactively identifying dependencies, risks and decisions required to keep programs on schedule and within scope.
  • Anticipate client and production needs, identifying potential hurdles early and proactively bringing forward solutions and recommendations to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business, brand, organizational priorities and event portfolio in order to provide informed recommendations, identify opportunities and become a trusted extension of the client team.
  • Perform a variety of account management and administrative tasks, including client comms, presentations, project timelines, meeting agendas and recaps, program documentation and post-event reporting.
  • Bring a creative and strategic perspective to brainstorms and program development, helping translate client business objectives into compelling experiential solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with agency teams and external partners, building strong working relationships and creating clear accountability across workstreams.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships by understanding client needs and effectively communicating the agency's broader capabilities and offerings.
  • Practice and ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in experiential marketing, event marketing, trade shows, conferences and/or integrated brand experiences, preferably within an agency environment.

  • Demonstrated experience managing trade show and large-scale event programs from planning through onsite execution and post-event reconciliation.

  • Having an understanding of the Production process is highly preferred, including experience working with fabrication, AV/technology, graphics, freight and logistics, labor, venues, show services and other event vendors.

  • Strong client-service experience, with the ability to independently manage day-to-day client relationships, lead meetings, present recommendations, manage expectations and navigate challenging conversations.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, timelines and budgets with overlapping deadlines and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong financial understanding, including experience developing estimates, managing budgets, tracking scope changes and supporting program reconciliation.

  • Comfort working onsite at events and trade shows, including installation, show days and strike, with the ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in fast-moving environments.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to move fluidly between strategic client conversations and detailed executional needs.

  • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined and collaborative team player with the ability to solve problems, take initiative, think proactively and make decisions with a degree of autonomy.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with clients, senior agency leadership, vendors and cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office; experience with project management, budgeting and event management platforms is a plus.

  • Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits and event execution, including occasional evenings and weekends as required by program schedules.

TEAM is committed to building diverse teams and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, ancestry, sex, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, citizenship, genetics, disability, age, veteran status or other characteristics.
