Commercial Account Manager

The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new commercial business and expanding relationships with existing accounts. This role serves as the primary point of contact for commercial customers, including fleet operators, local businesses, government agencies, contractors, and other organizations requiring tire and automotive services.The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Automotive industry experience is preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow commercial sales and increase market share.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits with prospective and existing customers.
  • Generate referrals and build a strong network within the local business community.
Account Management
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with commercial customers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate tire and automotive service solutions.
  • Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Ensure customer concerns and service issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Sales & Performance
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and business opportunities.
  • Prepare customer proposals, pricing recommendations, and service agreements.
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within company systems.
Partnership & Collaboration
  • Work closely with Store Managers, Service Advisors, and Operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for growth within local markets.
  • Communicate customer feedback and market trends to support business decisions.
QualificationsRequired
  • 3+ years of sales, account management, business development, or customer relationship management experience.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred
  • Automotive, tire, fleet maintenance, aftermarket parts, or commercial transportation industry experience.
  • Existing relationships with local fleet operators, contractors, municipalities, or commercial businesses.
  • Experience selling services in a multi-location retail or service environment.
