SUMMARY:   

The ML/SPED Paraprofessional is responsible for providing supplemental instructional and behavioral support to Multilingual Learners (MLs) and students with special education needs. This role adds an additional layer of targeted support that enhances both the ML instruction provided by ML specialists and the general education instruction delivered by classroom teachers. Working collaboratively with both teams, the ML/SPED Paraprofessional helps ensure equitable access to the curriculum and fosters language development and academic achievement in an inclusive environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Listed below are the essential tasks performed to achieve the purpose of this job. The frequency of each task is listed as follows: (D) daily, (W) weekly, (M) monthly, (Q) quarterly, or (A) annually. Also listed is the percentage of time each task requires on an annual basis. The total, including the percentage allocated to "other duties as assigned, "equals 100%.
