Position Summary

The Short-Term Rental Business Coach reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Product and serves as a trusted advisor to Strategic Host clients.

In this role, you'll work one-on-one with vacation rental owners to help them understand their business performance, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies that improve profitability. You'll combine financial insight, operational expertise, and coaching skills to guide clients toward measurable results while helping shape the future of our Strategic Host program.

No two days are exactly alike. You'll spend your time leading coaching sessions, onboarding new clients, facilitating group trainings, engaging in our online community, collaborating with teammates, and contributing to curriculum development. Your ability to translate business data into clear, actionable recommendations will directly impact client success, retention, and the continued evolution of our coaching program.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching calls for your assigned Strategic Host clients, completing all preparation before each session.

  • Lead onboarding sessions for new clients, including the 10 Grand Plan diagnostic to identify revenue opportunities and build an action plan.

  • Hold clients accountable to the goals and milestones established during coaching.

  • Host or co-host weekly group coaching sessions, developing presentations, supporting materials, and educational resources.

  • Collaborate with leadership to build, refine, and improve Strategic Host curriculum and coaching frameworks.

  • Maintain an active presence within the Strategic Host community by answering questions, providing guidance, and celebrating client successes.

  • Support quarterly Bootcamp programs through live training sessions, Q&A events, and prospective client conversations as needed.

  • Participate in weekly team strategy meetings and coaching reviews to continuously improve client outcomes.

  • Review AI and team feedback from recorded coaching sessions and implement ongoing improvements.

  • Identify recurring client challenges, industry trends, and opportunities to strengthen Strategic Host resources and frameworks.

Required Qualifications
  • Active or recent experience building, owning, operating, or leading a short-term rental business.

  • Strong understanding of short-term rental business analytics, including OTA performance metrics and direct booking data.

  • Experience with revenue management, dynamic pricing strategies, seasonality, and market demand.

  • Experience hiring, managing, and holding teams accountable to performance goals.

  • Ability to interpret complex business data and translate it into practical, actionable coaching.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, engaging on-camera presence.

  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to thrive in a collaborative remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using PriceLabs or comparable dynamic pricing software.

  • Previous coaching, consulting, or client advisory experience.

  • Familiarity with Skool or similar online community platforms.

  • Experience creating curriculum, educational content, or training programs.

  • Comfortable presenting live and creating recorded educational content.
