Job description

Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

Provide biofeedback, neurofeedback and TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) services through body and brain computer interfaces, specific to psycho-neuro-physiological evaluations and treatments.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Connect patients to EEG, TMS and physiological measurement devices to administer evaluations and TMS treatment.

Responsible for the data collection, data analyses, and data report generation from collected psycho-neuro-physiological findings.

Perform additional patient training in bio/neurofeedback on a limited and supervised basis.

Maintain and follow Bio/Neurofeedback equipment maintenance protocol. Identify problems and coordinate appropriate repairs.

Manage equipment inventory and orders when needed.

Perform limited case management functions, such as session documentation, and participate in case conferences and/or communication with referral sources if needed.

Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in related field (Neurosciences, Pre-Med, Psychology, Nursing, etc.) required.

Working or academic knowledge of Psychophysiology or Psychoneurophyisology required.

Experience or exposure to Biofeedback and Neurofeedback preferred.

Knowledge of TMS science and treatment delivery preferred.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

First aid may be required based on state or facility.
