Position Summary:

  • ย Set up and operate cutting equipment (e.g., guillotine/programmable cutters) to trim printed materials to exact dimensionsย 
  • ย Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and trim specificationsย 
  • ย Measure and verify cut accuracy using rulers
  • ย Perform routine adjustments to back gauge, blade depth, and clamping pressureย 
  • ย Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality standards are metย 
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance (blade changes, cleaning, lubrication)ย 
  • ย Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • ย 1+ year experience operating industrial cutting equipment (printing or manufacturing preferred)ย 
  • ย Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specificationsย 
  • ย Strong attention to detail and accuracyย 
  • ย Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, conversions)ย 
  • ย Ability to lift materials (up to ~50 lbs) and stand for extended periodsย 
  • ย Strong commitment to safety and qualityย 
  • ย Excellent attendance and can work flexible hours that will include overtime
