Job Description

The cage cashier executes all monetary transactions for guests and is assigned to a window bank.  The cage cashier must provide excellent guest service at all times.

  • Greet customers and give friendly, accurate and efficient service.
  • Exchange coin and gaming chips for currency, cash, checks, issue window markers, redeem slot tickets and safe deposit boxes, enter marker, fill and credit slips.
  • Communicate by telephone for customer service and pit information.
  • Stand for eight hours with stooping and bending.
  • Operate a computer, knowledge of software programs utilized by department, to input, update, and access customer credit and other information.
  • Complete transactions and documentation in accordance with gaming regulation requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Must be thoroughly trained in Title 31.
  • Operate ten-key adding machine, to balance window and sell checks, etc.
  • Operate a jet sort (a coin counter for cashing out coin) and currency counter.
  • Maintain bank balance. Keep work area clean and supplies stocked.
Qualifications
  • Previous cash handling or banking experience preferred but not required. 
  • Must be able to operate a 10 key calculator. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
