Position Description

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth flow of tools, parts, and materials throughout the Service Hub. This position involves handling incoming and outgoing products, stocking inventory, assisting repair technicians, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. You'll ensure timely distribution of tools and parts, practice safety and 5S standards, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

This includes Shipping Clerk/Tool Sorter, Denied Warranty Clerk and Box Opening roles.

What You Will Do

  • Provide tools, parts, and materials to repair technicians promptly.
  • Sort, stock, and organize parts, tools, and incoming shipments.
  • Unpack and pack tools for repair and shipping.
  • Transport finished products to staging areas for shipping.
  • Remove and deliver recyclable materials and scrap tools to designated locations.
  • Report low inventory levels daily and assist with restocking.
  • Verify parts deliveries against order sheets for accuracy.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and packing line tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the repair and reconditioning areas.
  • Safely dispose of garbage, dunnage, and hazardous items (e.g., paint spray cans).
  • Practice 5S and adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform other duties or shifts as assigned.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working in varied temperature conditions.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with RF devices preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Previous experience in material handling or general labour is an asset.
