Job description


We are looking for a dependable and skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to clients, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. If you are detail-oriented, responsible, and passionate about delivering quality service, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods.
  • Load and unload goods securely to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Plan and organize daily routes for efficient deliveries, meeting customer expectations.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with clients during pickups and drop-offs.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including delivery records, vehicle inspections, and customer signatures.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the truck and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring safety on the road.
  • This position is local and OTR.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class B commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 2 years of proven experience as a box truck driver, preferably in delivery or logistics. (If you don't have box truck experience, a CDL Class A license would be an acceptable alternative).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Education and Training:
  • A high school diploma or GED is generally required, but relevant work experience and a valid commercial driver's license are prioritized.
  • On-the-job training will be provided to familiarize you with our specific procedures and equipment.
