Job Description
As a Box Office attendant at Es Vedra Cinemas, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your primary responsibilities will include selling tickets, providing information about events and attractions, and delivering excellent guest service.
Job Responsibilities
  • Sell tickets for various events, shows, and attractions using the box office ticketing system, ensuring proper handling of cash and credit card transactions.
  • Provide guest with a warm welcome and answer inquiries about showtimes, pricing, and seating options, and assist with any special needs or other requests.
  • Effectively manage the will call window, ensuring tickets are organized and distributed efficiently to guests.
  • Inform guests about current promotions, discounts, and special offers, applying discounts and promotions as needed.
  • Professionally address and resolve guest concerns and complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, ticket sales, and guest interactions and ensure cash drawer is balanced accurately at the end of each shift.
  • Work closely with other team members, including ushers and concession staff, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain a presentable, clean, and organized box-office environment, ensuring current up-to-date marketing materials and signage are showcased
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills
  • Exhibit hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing, guest focused.
  • Able to take direction and work together as a team.
  • Able to work calmly and execute job duties effectively under pressure.

Education amp; Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
  • Some locations may require Food Handler and State Alcohol Certifications

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motion
