Box office ticketing refers to the process of selling and distributing tickets for events such as concerts, theater performances, movies, and sports games directly to customers, typically at the venue’s physical ticket counter or through an online system. Box office staff handle ticket sales, answer customer inquiries, manage seat assignments, and resolve ticketing issues. They play a key role in ensuring a smooth entry process for attendees and often provide information about event schedules, prices, and venue policies.

Regular training and teamwork with front-of-house staff also play a key role in ensuring a smooth ticketing process and a positive guest experience.
