Position Summary

EAE USA Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Engineer to support and enhance quality assurance and quality control activities across receiving, warehousing, shipping, and assembly operations for electric busway systems and tap-off boxes. This role will play a key part in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across two operational sites, with a primary physical location in Adairsville, GA.

The Quality Engineer will oversee incoming material and final product inspections, support new tap-off box assembly operations, maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and inspection plans.

  • Perform quality control inspections on incoming materials and finished products.

  • Ensure consistent quality assurance and control across receiving, warehousing, shipping, and assembly operations.

  • Support and monitor busway tap-off box assembly operations to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

  • Maintain and lead document control and quality record management systems.

  • Prepare, analyze, and publish quality performance metrics and management reports.

  • Conduct internal quality audits to verify product, process, and system compliance.

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Investigate customer complaints and claims, coordinating with internal teams through resolution.

  • Train and support employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process efficiency, and risk reduction.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA, APQP, PPAP, CAPA, QCP, and SOPs.

  • Experience working within a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 required; IATF 16949 a plus).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, but not required.


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Prior experience working with electrical equipment or in an electrical manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

  • Previous hands-on experience as an electrician is a plus.


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
