Job description

Geneva Technologies Inc. (GTI) is looking for any / all “super-technicians” who seek a broad based role delivering innovative products. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, an understanding of “right-sized” procedures, the and the ability to communicate and execute in a small, fast-moving, collaborative team environment.

This role will support electronics and mechanical research, design, and development. An ideal candidate will assist in the design, fabrication, and rework of ground and flight avionics, electronics, and mechanisms. This includes, but is not limited to power distribution electronics, high speed digital/RF, and flight mechanism development. The ideal candidate will execute tests throughout integration and delivery of GTI hardware at customer and launch facilities.

This broad based, hands-on, position requires intellectual curiosity and a desire to tackle ill-defined problems with solid engineering practices.

Technical & Hands-On Skills

  • Electronics Assembly & Rework: Hands-on experience with circuit board kitting, assembly, precision soldering, fabrication, and rework across power distribution, high-speed digital, and RF electronics.
  • Wire Harnessing: Design, fabrication, and integration of flight and ground wire harnesses.
  • Mechanical Fabrication: Experience in mechanical integration, CNC machining, basic metalwork, and additive manufacturing/3D printing (specifically using PLA, ASA, and PEEK materials).
  • Test Fixture & Rack Build: Ability to design, fabricate, and integrate test equipment racks and test fixtures.
  • Systems Exposure: Familiarity with flight mechanisms, embedded software, FPGA-based products, and PLC development.

Testing, Verification & Field Operations

  • Box & Ground Testing: Performing box-level and ground-level testing, verification, and validation for both ground and space flight products.
  • Standard Test Equipment: Proficiency using standard electronics test equipment during integration and diagnostics.
  • Field Execution: Willingness to support hardware integration, testing, and delivery on-site at customer and launch facilities.

  • 5+ years of experience in relevant positions
