Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm - OT as needed

Position Purpose:
The Bottling Line Supervisor oversees and supervises day to day bottling line operations. This person monitors and ensures proper staffing to staffing to fulfill daily productivity and quality goals and acts as back-up to all positions as needed. staffing to fulfill daily productivity and quality goals and acts as back-up to all positions as needed. and quality goals and acts as back-up to all positions as needed. The Supervisor also monitors and manages staff performance, including training, coaching, discipline, measuring and evaluating productivity and quality of work.
Core Responsibilities
Oversee staffing to ensure appropriate employees are available to meet production requirements.
Monitor employee performance. Provide coaching, feedback, advise on corrective action and employee recognition.
Ensure line checks are completed at the beginning, throughout and at the end of the day
Quickly assess skills, provide training and mentoring for new employees on how to perform the position responsibilities. Ensure appropriate and trained employees are available to meet the production schedule requirements.
Review all quality data to ensure good management practices (GMPโs) are followed ex: HACCP.
Demonstrate and maintain professional and respectful behaviors
Set up equipment for tracking purposes. Monitor daily production count.
Communicate with the Director of Bottling on productivity, problems, employee performance issues and other information as appropriate.
Coordinate and prioritize the operations between 4 bottling lines. Identify and provide solutions to problems with the lines.
Act as back-up for all positions on the bottling line as needed.
Attend meetings as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
High school degree or equivalent education and experience required.
Experience supervising and leading others, preferably with experience working in the distillery industry, manufacturing, on a production line or other relevant industries.
Able to key data into computer systems and databases.
Previous experience and successful performance working in bottling line positions.
Able to operate pallet jacks and / or forklifts.
Attention to detail.
Problem solving skills.
Self-motivated with strong initiative.
Strong organizational skills.
Adaptable and able to deal with change quickly.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Fast paced, warehouse and industrial environment.
Exposure to hazardous materials such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold.
Essential physical requirements, such as frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching , crawling, reaching and lifting, occasionally above shoulders.
Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds.
Some overtime required.
Able to stand and walk all day with minimal breaks.
Able to lift, carry and pull 50 pounds or less.
Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb.
Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids.
Able to visually inspect products.
