Job Location: WSA Entertainment, LLC dba Parq Nightclub and Restaurant
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Tip Eligible
Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The VIP Server/Entertainer is a key member of our nightlife team, responsible for enhancing the VIP guest experience through premium bottle service, entertainment, and exceptional customer interaction. This role includes both traditional VIP service responsibilities and newly documented entertainment functions, ensuring a high-energy and immersive experience for our guests.

Essential Functions

1. Entertainment & Performance Responsibilities (51% or More of Role):

  • Engage guests with interactive and engaging entertainment throughout the shift.
  • Participate in themed nights, promotions, and club events that enhance the VIP experience.
  • Perform interactive elements that contribute to the entertainment experience, ensuring that at least 51% of duties align with entertainment-focused responsibilities under California classification requirements.

2. VIP Bottle Service & Presentation:

  • Display and carry bottles to tables in an engaging and visually appealing manner.
  • Use props, sparklers, and special effects to enhance bottle presentations.
  • Assist the VIP bottle service team with setting up and maintaining VIP tables.
  • Ensure timely and synchronized bottle presentations in coordination with management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of VIP areas.

3. Guest Interaction & Upselling:

  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell premium bottle service, exclusive packages, and club promotions.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding bottle service, entertainment offerings, and promotions.
  • Ensure guests feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.

4. Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all safety protocols during bottle presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies, alcohol regulations, and service standards.
  • Adhere to updated costume policy, ensuring proper check-out and return of costumes.

5. Sales & Tip Reporting:

  • Ensure VIP Server/Entertainer sales are properly recorded at the end of each night.
  • Verify tips match checkout totals and resolve discrepancies before the close of business.
  • Print a Clover receipt for any overtips charged and include it in the checkout.

6. Hosted Bottle Receipts:

  • Print all itemized receipts for hosted tables before closing them in Aloha.
  • Place receipts in the labeled "Hosted Receipts" envelope nightly for compliance.

7. Entertainer Wands:

  • Managers distribute entertainer wands at the start of each shift.
  • VIP Servers/Entertainers are esponsible for returning them to the manager’s office at the end of the night.

8. Scheduling & Shift Cuts:

  • All scheduling is managed through Paylocity.
  • Shift cuts are posted in Paylocity unless directly approved by a manager.
  • If a shift cut is required due to slow business, employees must work a minimum of 2 hours before being sent home.

9. Worksite Arrival Policy:

  • Employees may not arrive on-site more than 30 minutes before their scheduled shift.
