This is an excellent opportunity for an early career biologist to gain hands on experience working alongside experienced professionals on projects that balance environmental stewardship with responsible development throughout California.

As an Assistant Biologist, you'll build valuable consulting experience by conducting field surveys, supporting environmental compliance, collecting biological data, and contributing to meaningful projects that protect California's diverse habitats and wildlife. Every project offers new opportunities to expand your technical knowledge, develop your field skills, and grow your career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biological surveys and habitat assessments.
- Perform vegetation mapping and monitoring.
- Collect and analyze field data.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports.
- Monitor permit compliance and ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
- Document field activities and findings accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to support project objectives.
- Maintain flexibility to travel and work in various field conditions.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients.

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Botany, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
Preferred Education:

- 0–2 years of relevant academic, internship, seasonal, field, or professional experience in biology, ecology, natural resources, or environmental consulting.
