Pediatric Dentist Opportunity – Shreveport / Bossier City, LA


A well-established and highly respected private dental group in Northern Louisiana is seeking a motivated Pediatric Dentist to join their growing team in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys bread-and-butter dentistry, working with a diverse patient population, and being part of a collaborative, high-volume environment.

This group has built a strong reputation for quality care and community impact, while offering providers the support, infrastructure, and patient flow needed to succeed.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed Base Salary: $425,000 or 34% of Collections (whichever is greater)
  • Sign-On Bonus Available
  • No Lab Fees
  • Employer Pays 50% of Health Insurance Premiums (family can be added)

Practice Environment

You’ll have the opportunity to work between two established locations:


Bossier City (Flagship Location)

  • New facility & equipment (updated June 2025)
  • Central hub with leadership, office management, and call center
  • Typically 2 Doctors onsite
  • Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (Half Day Friday)

Shreveport Location

  • Currently 1 Doctor, capacity for 2 due to strong demand
  • 8 operatories, ~2,000 sq ft
  • Orthodontist located next door for easy collaboration

Patient Volume

  • ~15 Hygiene Patients / Day
  • ~12 Restorative Patients / Day

Patient Demographics

  • Mix of pediatric and general patient base
  • High demand for restorative and denture-related procedures due to local needs

Clinical Support

  • 2 Full-Time Hygienists
  • 2 Full-Time Dental Assistants
  • Curve EMR System

Scope of Practice

  • Prophylaxis & Preventive Care
  • Fluoride Treatments
  • Composite Fillings & Sealants
  • Cavity Treatment
  • Basic Extractions
  • Denture-related procedures

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required):

  • Root Canal Therapy

Ideal Candidate

  • Motivated, energetic, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable with bread-and-butter dentistry
  • Strong focus on patient care and outcomes
  • Thrives in a collaborative, high-volume setting

Credentialing Requirements

  • DDS or DMD
  • Louisiana Dental License (or ability to obtain)
  • NPI & DEA
  • CPR Certification
  • Medicaid Certification (preferred, not required)
