At Chick-fil-A, the Experienced Cook role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, our chefs gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food.

Experienced Cook Responsibilities:

Our cooks seek to provide guests with a remarkable dining experience each and every day by working as a team to give each guest the quickest, highest quality food possible

Prepares, cooks and presents food safely, delivering food to our guests within 90 seconds

Works quickly and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards

Adheres properly to safety standards with kitchen equipment, ingredients and personnel

Looks for opportunities to stock and clean to maintain a productive workstation Keeps the kitchen clean, safe, and organized at all times, including floors

Maintains and develops personal expertise with in-house training and annual recertification

Rigorously follows company policies and procedures to produce incredible food, every time

Strives for quality and consistency in every aspect of their work

Demonstrates enthusiasm, courtesy and hospitality to all

Can multitask while working at a quick, efficient and thorough pace

Shares and protects our value of team

Must be available at least 2 Saturdays monthly

Qualifications

Able to work hard with a fast pace while maintaining standards in excellence and safety

Holds a strong work ethic, and is able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Team-minded - values and works to create a positive team atmosphere

Demonstrates excellent communication with guests and team members

Must have a source of reliable transportation

Must work well under pressure

Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently

Must be available at minimum of two Saturdays monthly

Must be able to close 2-3 shifts weekly

Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire date

Must have a source of reliable transportation

Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low

Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment

Mobility required during shifts

Must work well under pressure

Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently

Must have Saturday availability

Must demonstrate ability to work successfully with a team

Pay Rate:

$15-18/hour for Full Time Positions: $13.50-15.25hour for part time based on availability and experience
