Job Description
Cross-domain Computing Solutions develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of Driver Assistance and Autonomous Driving. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today, but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Customer Project Team for Driver Assistance systems for Japanese OEMs (J-OEMs).
As the Customer Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Overall responsible for project management deliverables (set-up of project-charter, project management plan, communication strategy, project schedule, milestones, work breakdown structure, etc.).
  • Responsible for achievement of project targets and KPIs (on time, on spec, on quality, on budget/ profit, customer satisfaction).
  • Monitor and control project execution regularly, define and implement countermeasures in case of deviations, escalate if necessary.
  • Set-up and maintain cockpit chart with a completeness/consistency value of 100% and present project status to steering committee.
  • Lead interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Maintain and increase team and customer satisfaction by appropriate internal and external communication regarding project deliverables and achievement of customer project goals.
  • Interface to the customer; manage interface between customer and project team; spokesperson for the project with all the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead customer and internal meetings to ensure the project deliverables fulfill project objectives.
  • Coordination of Hardware and Software deliveries to support customer milestones, including delivery of samples and series release.
  • Responsible for launch management of the product.
  • Perform and lead for risk management, quality management and problem resolution management; including the identification, analysis, implementation and evaluation of measures together with the cross functional team.
  • Lead change management, including requirement management, estimation and quotation.
  • Adherence to company and business unit process library, guidelines, policies and legal terms.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects for the automotive industry.
  • Project Experience in all project phases (initiation, planning, execution & control, closing).
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills related to customer interaction, and internal global cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strategic thinking and results orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP or similar Certification
  • Experience developing ADAS Software or Hardware
  • Sales/Commercial expertise in the automotive industry
  • Japanese, German or Spanish language
