Job description

We're looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Spine Clinic team! 

The Spine Center is seeking an experienced and certified medical assistant to join our team. 2 years of clinic practice experience is required. Orthopedic or Spine experience strongly preferred along with EPIC EMR. This position is weekdays only and supports the Roaring Fork Valley's leading orthopedic spine surgeon. The work of clinic practice will be assisting patients with their spine issues and supporting their journey to surgery when appropriate. The joy of our clinic and this position in particular is helping our community return to the activities they love most in our mountain town.

Experienced Certified Medical Assistant highly preferred!

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

  1. Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.
  2. Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.
  3. Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
  4. Completes Limited diagnostic x-rays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education:

  • Current RMA/CMA. 
  • Current BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
  •  We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas

Skills: 

  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Preferred 2 years recent work experience in a health care facility under the supervision of a licensed health care provider.

SALARY RANGE

  • $20.41 - $30.02/hour Clinic MA
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
