Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and compliant payroll operations for a growing workforce in Wisconsin. This role requires someone who can manage payroll activity across multiple platforms, interpret payroll regulations confidently, and support both domestic and cross-border processing. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach when working with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employee populations of varying sizes, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Coordinate payroll activities across more than one payroll system and maintain consistency between platforms, records, and outputs.
• Process multi-state payroll while applying relevant tax, wage, and compliance requirements in each jurisdiction.
• Manage Canadian payroll transactions and help ensure adherence to applicable regulations, statutory deductions, and reporting obligations.
• Support international payroll operations by collaborating with vendors and stakeholders involved in global employee pay programs.
• Prepare, review, and analyze payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit findings to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, leadership, benefits contacts, and third-party payroll providers to address payroll-related matters.
• Safeguard sensitive payroll information while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.• Demonstrated experience handling full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to manage payroll across multiple systems or platforms in a complex operating environment.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance requirements, including multi-state payroll practices.
• Hands-on experience processing Canadian payroll and supporting related statutory and reporting obligations.
• Familiarity with international payroll operations, including coordination with global vendors or regional payroll partners.
• Advanced skills in payroll reporting, analytics, and account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, sound discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
