Borax, also known as sodium borate, is a naturally occurring mineral and a salt of boric acid. It is widely used in cleaning products, laundry detergents, and as a flux in metallurgy. Borax has applications in glass and ceramics manufacturing, as well as in insecticides and cosmetics. It is valued for its ability to soften water, disinfect, and act as a buffering agent. However, it should be handled with care, as ingestion or prolonged exposure can pose health risks.

What are the typical responsibilities of a borax production technician on a daily basis?

Daily tasks often include performing quality control checks, adjusting machinery settings, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Technicians work closely with engineers and quality assurance teams to optimize production efficiency and maintain high product standards. They may also collect and analyze samples to ensure the borax meets required specifications.
