Job description

Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. (AFI) is one of the premier fiberglass manufacturers leading the industry for over 20 years in design and manufacture of custom fiberglass in our state of the art manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH. We custom design and manufacture interior and exterior decorative fiberglass reinforced polymer (FTP) ornamentation for the restoration, reproduction and new construction industries.
AFI is looking to hire Chopper Booth Employees to help our business continue to grow. This candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate with professionalism.
This is a unique position that requires NO EXPERIENCE. WE WILL TRAIN. All that is needed to become an AFI employee is the willingness to learn and the desire to put forth your best efforts.
As a Chopper Booth Employee you will check and calibrate your spray guns.
Check all fluids needed for a safe operation, i.e., MEKP and Acetone or Acetone replacement. If something is not right, you would report it to the Supervisor.
Spray resin on the mold to soften the gel-coat, then spray (chop) the glass on the resin. This should be done at least twice.
Check thickness with mil gauge. Repeat if needed.
General housekeeping and cleanliness and any other duties that the Supervisor may request.
