Job Summary

The Technology & Products Group (TPG) Workforce Development (WFD) Specialist - Onboarding supports the development, maintenance, and facilitation of training programs that enable workforce readiness across the organization. This role helps ensure that new hires are effectively onboarded through structured training, department orientations, and fab bootcamp experiences, enabling a smooth transition to productivity. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and maintain training content and documentation, analyze training data, and drive continuous improvement in onboarding programs and processes across all TPG global locations. This role is part of the Global TPG WFD Team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the facilitation of onboarding programs and learning experiences (e.g., orientations, workshops, cohorts, Fab Bootcamp) in both in-person and virtual formats
  • Assist with onboarding administration, including tracking headcount, preparing welcome communications, supporting cohort planning, coordinating training enrollment, and facilitating mentor/buddy assignments
  • Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to contribute to onboarding plans aligned to roles, functions, and business needs
  • Support the development and maintenance of onboarding programs, materials, and learning resources to help new hires integrate and build required skills
  • Use data and reports to monitor onboarding performance, identify areas for improvement, and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Contribute to workforce development initiatives and projects, supporting planning, coordination, and execution to achieve desired outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to facilitate or support training in in-person and virtual settings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with familiarity or willingness to learn Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Analytical and diligent, with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to or interest in project management and continuous improvement, including planning, coordination, and process enhancement, with an interest in training development, data analysis, or process/automation improvements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to learn and understand technical concepts, and work with diverse stakeholders
  • Exposure to or interest in GenAI or automation tools to improve efficiency and quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving approach
  • Relevant project, internship, or academic experience supporting onboarding, training, or structured learning programs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, education, instructional development, human resources, business management, or related fields
