Job description

The Senior MuleSoft Integrations Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role ensures seamless connectivity between enterprise systems, applications, and third-party services to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. The position involves leading integration projects, mentoring junior developers, and enforcing best practices for API-led connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration Design & Development
    • Architect and implement integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
    • Develop APIs and data transformations to connect P21 Cloud with enterprise and third-party systems.
    • Design and maintain scalable integration solutions between internal and external platforms
    • Build APIs using RAML/REST/SOAP and implement MuleSoft best practices.
    • Configure and manage CloudHub deployments, Runtime Manager, and API Manager.
  • API Lifecycle Management
    • Oversee full API lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
    • Create reusable API assets and connectors for scalability and faster development.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to define integration requirements.
    • Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and integration best practices.
  • Performance & Troubleshooting
    • Monitor integration performance and health; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Optimize integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications and data flow diagrams.
    • Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years IT experience with 5+ years in MuleSoft development.
    • 5+ years of experience integrating ERP systems, preferably Epicor Prophet 21
    • Experience integrating Epicor P21 Cloud with Salesforce, banking platforms, eCommerce, or data warehouses
    • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, API Manager, and related tools.
  • Technical Skills:
    •  Experience with EDI, ETL, and flat file integrations.
    • Expertise in API-led connectivity, ESB architecture, and integration patterns.
    • Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD-Level 1) required; Architect-level certifications preferred.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Epicor P21 Cloud with Salesforce, banking platforms, eCommerce, or data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience migrating legacy integrations to MuleSoft.
  • Integration Experience
    • Hands-on experience integrating with ERP systems (Epicor P21, SAP, Oracle, Business Central), CRM (Salesforce), and other enterprise apps.
    • Knowledge of ETL tools and data transformation techniques, like Mulesoft, Boomi, Celigo, Microsoft Power Automate, Compration, or other service provider tools.
    • .NET or Python scripting experience is a plus.
    • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
