Boom is on a mission to level the playing field for the 110+ million renters in the US by making housing more flexible, affordable, and rewarding. Boom serves renters through the Boom App and property managers via the Boom Platform. Now serving thousands of renters, Boom is led by second-time founder Rob Whiting (ex-BCG, Rubicon).   • Engineering: full stack, AI, security, QA, engineering leadership, and product.
  • Go-To-Market: sales, customer success, customer support, and marketing.
  • Operations: revenue operations, leasing and property management operations, and program management.
  • Finance and accounting: accounting, FP&A, and finance operations.

What we look for
  • People who want to build a function from scratch. Most of our roles are the first or second hire in their area.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, with specific examples of automations you've built or agents you've deployed.
  • Comfort working quickly with very few layers of management, and a habit of owning your own numbers.
  • High standards, without the politics that tend to come with bigger companies.
  • Real interest in the problem. There are more than 110 million renters in the US, and very little of the financial system is built for them.

  • We work in-office in Austin, Texas.
  • The team is small, the founders are accessible, and there isn't much standing between an idea and shipping it.
  • We automate before we add headcount, and we expect everyone here to work that way.
