Opportunity
Boom is looking for a motivated, high-energy Business Development Representative to help drive new pipeline and introduce property managers to Boom's products. This is a front-line revenue role focused on outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound interest, and booking high-quality meetings for sales.
You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and clearly communicating Boom's value in a fast-paced environment. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives on hitting goals, and wants to grow into a full-cycle sales role.

  • Inbound qualification: Respond quickly to marketing leads and qualify fit, needs, and timing
  • Pipeline generation: Book qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives
  • Research & targeting: Build and maintain target account lists across multifamily, single-family, manufactured housing, and related verticals
  • Messaging & positioning: Clearly communicate Boom's value proposition around tenant screening, fraud prevention, and rent reporting
  • CRM management: Maintain accurate records, activities, and opportunity notes in CRM
  • Event support: Assist with pre-event outreach, onsite networking, and post-event follow-up (NMHC, TEXCO, PM Systems, etc.)
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales leadership, and product teams to refine outreach messaging and market feedback
  • Performance tracking: Consistently hit outreach, meeting, and pipeline targets
What You'll Need
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, SDR/BDR, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication skills - confident on phone, email, and video
  • High level of organization, persistence, and follow-through
  • Ability to quickly learn product details and explain value clearly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to grow within sales
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience in proptech, SaaS, real estate, or property management is helpful but not required
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding outbound activity and meeting goals
  • Generating qualified pipeline opportunities
  • Strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing
  • Positive feedback from prospects on professionalism and product knowledge
