Part-Time Bookkeeper
Middletown Area | Direct Hire | $21–$23/hour

A public service organization in the Middletown area is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join its small, friendly office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys a mix of accounting, administrative support, and customer service.

The schedule is 3 days per week, approximately 16 hours total, with some flexibility in the days worked.

What You’ll Do
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Process accounts payable and record receipts
  • Prepare monthly payroll and related tax reporting
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including income, expenditures, and disbursements
  • Provide general administrative support to the office
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Assist customers with payments, questions, and general inquiries
  • Prepare letters, emails, and other correspondence
  • Perform data entry, filing, and other office tasks as needed
