Experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist
King of Kings Business & Tax Advisory is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a strong accounting professional who can work independently, manage multiple clients, solve problems, and complete responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
• Manage monthly bookkeeping for multiple business clients
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Review and properly categorize transactions
• Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Review Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy
• Identify, research, and correct accounting discrepancies independently
• Complete month-end closing and prepare financial reports
• Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll
• Manage payroll changes, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements
• Review payroll tax filings, W-2s, and quarterly reports
• Communicate professionally with clients
Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
• Strong payroll processing experience required
• Solid understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end close
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with ADP, Gusto, and an accounting or tax advisory firm is highly preferred.
