Job description

A growing professional services firm is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to support multiple small business and individual clients.

This hybrid role is based in the Sugar Land area with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote (Thu/Fri).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger and post journal entries
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable and process payments
  • Record cash receipts and disbursements
  • Prepare client financial statements
  • Process payroll for clients
  • Prepare payroll and sales tax filings
  • Provide light administrative support such as scanning documents and communicating with clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Full-charge bookkeeping experience
  • Intermediate QuickBooks and Excel skills
