Job Summary
Summary: Performs a variety of clerical duties, including answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing, word processing, office machine operation and filing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the first point of contact for employees, guests, vendors, and visitors entering the office; manages access and directs visitors appropriately.
  • Answers phones, directs calls, takes messages, and responds to general inquiries.
  • Serves as a resource for staff and visitors by providing information and assistance with questions when appropriate.
  • Prepares, types, formats, copies, proofreads, and distributes correspondence, reports, forms, invoices, contracts, and other documents.
  • Prepares orientation packets, menu cards, meeting materials, and other operational documents.
  • Verifies temporary staff sign-in sheets and assists with temporary staff check-in as needed.
  • Maintains and updates attendance trackers, staffing records, files, databases, and office records.
  • Opens, routes, and prepares incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Operates and troubleshoots office equipment, including computers, scanners, copiers, fax, and voicemail systems.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other administrative and tracking systems.
  • Maintains a professional, organized, and secure front office environment.
  • Performs other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
