Part-Time Bookkeeper - 10-20 hours per week.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support ongoing financial operations for a team in Hooksett, New Hampshire. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can work independently in a part-time capacity while maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. The role offers a steady schedule of approximately 10 to 20 hours per week and requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and hands-on bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records by classifying transactions and keeping bookkeeping data current and organized.
• Reconcile bank and account activity on a routine basis to identify discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Process incoming and outgoing financial transactions, including support for accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with general accounting tasks and provide administrative support related to routine financial operations.
• Review entries for completeness and accuracy while helping ensure records align with internal documentation and reporting needs.
• Proven experience performing bookkeeping duties in a detail-oriented business environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks and confidence working within accounting software systems.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience completing bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage part-time work independently and maintain accuracy across multiple financial tasks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a dependable, self-directed work style.
