Oversee bookkeeping and finance support, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES
The primary responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Credit Card Management
  • Budget Cycle Support
  • Reconciliation/Month-End
  • Respond to Giver questions
  • Provide staff support with ministry budgets or transactions
  • Weekly cash count and giving processing
  • Wire Transfers
  • Annual filings
  • Check Printing
  • Journal Entries in QuickBooks
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with staff
  • Due to access to financial records, this position requires a high degree of confidentiality
