The Part-Time Bookkeeper will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting team within a medium-sized group of 4-7 members. Reporting directly to the Bookkeeping Manager, this position involves handling a variety of bookkeeping tasks including data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll assistance, and financial reporting support. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring timely and precise financial operations using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, while benefiting from a collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records through detailed data entry of invoices, receipts, and expenses
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist in preparing financial reports
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
  • Support payroll processing tasks to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate and timely financial information
