We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a contract assignment based in Draper, Utah. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing core accounting tasks with accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on maintaining organized financial records, supporting payables and receivables, and ensuring account balances are properly reconciled. Experience working with QuickBooks and familiarity with construction-related accounting practices will be highly valuable in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records by entering and updating transactions in QuickBooks on a regular basis.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor accounts payable activity to ensure timely disbursements.
• Issue customer invoices, record incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable management.
• Reconcile bank statements and internal financial records to identify discrepancies and keep accounts current.
• Assist with tracking job-related costs and financial activity in support of construction industry bookkeeping needs.
• Review financial data for completeness and accuracy, resolving routine issues as they arise.
