We are looking for Material Handlers to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available!
Starting Rate: $17.00/hour
Hours: 12-hour Daylight shift 6am-6pm, Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, Wednesday-Thursday
Location: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg, VA 22801
As our Material Handler, you will:
  • Feed book sections into a binding machine
  • Move books from the production line and stack them into boxes
  • Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
  • Receive training to help advance your career

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
