Job description

Mailroom Delivery Associate
The Mail Room Delivery Associate ensures consistent University support in all aspects of the mail room, print shop, and mail deliveries on campus. Successful individuals have excellent customer service, the ability to lift 50lbs, the ability to adjust day-to-day workload, and communicate well in both written and oral means.
Candidates will be invited to demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:
  • Assists with mail room operations to include retrieving mail from the USPS distribution center, processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, postage metering, and performing the daily campus route of all department mail and packages. Including errands off campus
  • Assist in the Print Shop printing, book making and binding, stuffing, trimming, and cutting
  • Performs other related duties as requested and assigned

  • Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary
  • Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities.
  • Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Office of Physical Plant and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict's admonition that all be received as Christ.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and other mail and printing dedicated software preferred
