Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Position Management Data Analyst & Controls professional to support the firm's platform transformation by leading position data analysis, reconciliation frameworks, and certification activities across legacy and target platforms.

  • Define and maintain certification criteria and acceptance thresholds to validate position parity across accounts, strategies, asset classes, and legal entities.
  • Perform detailed root-cause analysis on position breaks and P&L discrepancies, distinguishing among system behavior differences, sourcing gaps, lifecycle timing issues, and data quality failures.
  • Partner closely with the Position Management Product Owner, Technology, and Accounting teams to resolve upstream data issues impacting reconciliation outcomes.
  • Prepare evidence-based certification and sign-off materials for senior stakeholders, auditors, and migration governance forums.
  • Monitor intraday position breaks and EOD reconciliation exceptions, escalating material issues and driving timely resolution within defined SLAs.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in position management, investment data reconciliation, or operational controls within a global asset management, asset servicing, or prime brokerage environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience designing and executing multi-asset position and P&L reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with position parity testing, UAT methodologies, and migration certification for investment book of record platforms.
  • Solid understanding of position lifecycle inputs, including trade economics, settlements, corporate actions, FX revaluations, and cost basis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel, with experience developing exception reporting and control dashboards.
