JOB DESCRIPTION:ย  ย Supervise sub-varsity basketball team in conjunction with overall program and under the direction of the head coach.ย  Assist head basketball coach, maintain direct supervision of athletes, attend all practices and competitions, provide consistent discipline in line with the program policies, maintain equipment, supplies, uniforms, game score book, statistics and accurate records.

This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students. The successful candidate will demonstrate a dedication to ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed, recognizing and addressing barriers to academic achievement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience coaching high school girls basketball
  • Knowledge of fundamentals and techniques of play.
  • ASEP/NFHS certified or ability to become certified plus various other required certifications.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certification or ability to become certified.
  • Meet required driver's training for activity van usage.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

PREFERENCE:ย  ย May be given to those candidates who hold a valid Oregon teaching license. May be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.ย
