Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology that facilitates optimal patient care. We take pride in our experienced and compassionate team of healthcare professionals, which includes two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in Chesapeake, providing a collaborative work environment where innovative treatment techniques are emphasized.   • Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, providing focused attention and detailed treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment protocols aimed at minimizing pain, promoting movement, and enhancing patients’ physical performance.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate rehabilitation, emphasizing cost-effective treatments that reduce the need for surgical interventions.
  • Create customized fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' specific recovery goals, adapting plans as necessary based on progress.
  • Regularly assess treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress, maintaining clear communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation journey.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare documentation standards.
  • Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation process, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care strategies that address the multi-faceted needs of each patient.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle among patients by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination as part of their treatment plan.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse population of patients, predominantly those covered under private medical insurance. The majority of our clientele includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring therapeutic intervention. Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
