Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AMHourly Rate: $24.17 an hour + $1.00 shift differentialConagra Brands in Marshall Missouri, a local supplier of Banquet products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill the Boiler Refrigeration Mechanic position. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.Why Conagra Brands - Marshall?Wages up to $28.79 per hour + up to $5.50 per hour attendance bonus & shift differentialOvertime Eligibility (based on business needs)Excellent benefit packageUp to 10 paid Holidays per year401K and vacationEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany StoreYou Will:Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/components on plant & production equipment.Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks, as well as, read blueprints, drawing and plans.Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment involving ammonia & other refrigerants.Perform daily check of all refrigeration systems as required.Replace, repair and maintain all energy systems, boilers, ammonia systems, coolers, air compressors, HVAC systems and apparatus.Clean evaporators and condensers as scheduled, change recorder charts and maintain recording equipment.Monitor, repair, clean plant systems, water condensers, evaporators, dump traps, accumulators, sight glasses and filtration systems.Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure a continuous production operation.Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant & production equipment.Use hand & power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/equipment on plant & production equipment.Perform electrical and/or pneumatic work on production machines.You Have:High school diploma or GED1 year mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment & electrical experience.Ability to work the scheduled/assigned days and hours including required overtime.Carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Relocation assistance is available for this position.
