Job Description:

We are looking for a Boiler Operator to lead a team of forklift operators, wood yard, and quality control personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be motivated to grow with the Company. The Plant Manager will oversee daily operations of the plant, ensuring smooth and efficient production in a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the plant, with a focus on boiler operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of 10-15 employees, including forklift operators, wood yard, and quality control personnel. Plant may run 2nd & 3rd Shifts seasonally.
  • Prioritize safety as the top concern, implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols, especially in boiler operations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of boilers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain and improve product quality standards.
  • Train and mentor plant staff on safe boiler operation, equipment handling, and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to boiler operations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on boilers.
  • Monitor and optimize plant processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on plant performance, safety records, and quality metrics.
