Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours per week, with overtime and weekends as needed
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining and repairing building equipment and systems, with a strong focus on ammonia refrigeration, boiler operations, and compressed air systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance and possess strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, compressors, pumps, valves, and related equipment.Monitor and operate steam boilers, compressed air systems, and water distribution systems.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and natural gas-fired equipment.Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.Monitor chemical feed systems and perform water treatment testing and adjustments.Read and interpret gauges, meters, alarms, and control systems.Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using electronic systems and logbooks.Respond promptly to equipment issues and emergency situations.Assist with annual boiler inspections and related preparations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA requirements.QualificationsRequiredMinimum 2 years of experience in:Ammonia refrigeration systemsSteam boiler operationsAir compressor maintenance and repairExperience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance environments.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Basic computer skills and electronic documentation experience.Strong communication and organizational skills.Valid driver's license.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to pass a physical examination and respirator fit test.Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.PreferredFood manufacturing, beverage, cold storage, or CPG experience.RETA Level 1 or Level 2 Certification.HAZMAT Training.Forklift Certification.Experience with CMMS or ERP systems.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
