What You'll Do
As an HVAC Journeyman Mechanic, you'll be a key player in delivering high-quality service and solutions to our commercial customers. You'll work on a variety of systems, from rooftop units to chillers, and help optimize facility performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, fans, etc.)
  • Performing maintenance and replacements on mechanical systems
  • Troubleshooting advanced systems including centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon components
  • Conducting mechanical shaft alignment and vibration analysis
  • Installing complete HVAC systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Providing expert recommendations and quotes for system upgrades and repairs
  • Collaborating with apprentices and other mechanics to share knowledge and ensure top-tier service
  • Traveling 10-20% to support customer needs across the region
  • Prioritizing safety in every task

What We're Looking For
We're seeking skilled professionals with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to excellence.
Required qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience
  • Universal EPA refrigerant certification
  • Valid current driver's license
  • Proficiency in mechanical alignment and vibration diagnostics
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and document service actions
  • Willingness to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices (UA)
  • Self-motivated, safety-focused, and eager to learn
  • Ability to pass a technical proficiency exam
