Job description

Configuration Management (Associate, Experienced, Senior)

Company:

Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) seeks a Configuration Management professional to join our team in Heath, OH.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Multisource data analysis,
  • Detailed status accounting and verification activities,
  • Support certification of flight activities.
  • Represent Boeing Configuration Management in customer meetings.
  • Perform and support anomaly investigations.
  • Ensure hardware as-built configurations satisfy released design requirements.
  • Interface with internal and external customers.

This position is expected to be fully onsite in Heath, OH.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to get a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.
  • Minimum years of related experience: 1+ for level 2, 3+ for level 3, 5+ for level 4.
  • If not already within commuting distance of Heath, OH, willingness and ability to relocate at own expense.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Drawing Requirements and EBOM (Engineering Bill Of Materials) knowledge.
  • Quality Management System AS9100 experience.
  • Status Accounting or requirements verification database knowledge.
  • Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) experience.
  • Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) experience.
  • Requirements management experience.
  • Manufacturing planning experience.

Associate (level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
