Job description

Autopark Chrysler Jeep is currently seeking a General Manager to join their team at Holman!

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement organizational policies and goals, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide counsel and direction to the activities of sales, service, parts, body shop, F&I, and administration to affect operational efficiency and economy.
  • Direct and coordinate promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position in the industry.
  • Analyze department budgets to identify profit‑maximizing opportunities or cost‑minimizing actions and achieve the operating budget.
  • Confer with administrative and managerial personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine required program or operational changes.
  • Through communication, oversight and direction, work to ensure employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
  • Promote the recruitment and development of dealership managers and non‑management employees.
  • Examine pay practices and develop pay‑plan models to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Liaise with the manufacturer and work with factory representatives to achieve factory objectives.
  • Provide strategic planning and execution to meet long‑term dealership goals.
  • Ensure all HR topics are monitored and appropriately managed, together with the necessary documentation.
  • Recruit and develop future leaders.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Training

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university; and 8+ years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relevant Work Experience

6+ years of dealership experience at a department manager level, or similar related work; knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of department operations to ensure profitability of the dealership.
