Job description

Hudson Automotive Group, is looking for a Body Shop Manager to join our team. Essential Duties:
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of body shop staff.
  • Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the body shop.
  • Develops and implements a marketing plan.
  • Builds and maintains good working relations with insurance adjusters.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect normal operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Examines damaged vehicles to determine the degree of structural and mechanical damage, as well as damage to the bodywork and the insides of the vehicles.
  • Evaluates the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged part.
  • Reviews repair cost estimates with the body shop foreman.
  • Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
